Little Leaf ABA provides Applied Behavior Analysis to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We provide a combination of home-based and school-based ABA therapy. ABA therapy programs are customized to meet the needs of your family and child specifically.

Utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, we focus on skill acquisition and communication as well as decreasing undesirable behaviors that create barriers to your child’s learning, a combination that is sure to help your child reach their full potential and improve the quality of life for you child and family.

We perform a comprehensive functional assessment to create a care plan that will determine your child’s strengths, challenges, and the learning methods your child will best respond to.

aba home therapy

ABA therapy is a scientific approach to modifying behavior. Individualized ABA Therapy in the comfort of your home or your child’s school can help your child increase desirable behaviors and decrease harmful behaviors.

CAREGIVER & family training

Therapy doesn’t stop with our staff. In caregiver training sessions we teach family members the skills necessary to be successful when we, the professionals, are not present. This empowers caregivers with the skills to be effective and consistent.

school based support

Our team will work closely with your child’s school to develop effective instructional programs based on the principles and methodologies of applied behavior analysis. This will ensure your child will be successful and supported in a variety of settings.

social skills groups

Social skills groups are a way for children to receive therapy in group settings, while playing with other children. Our social skills groups provide a supervised and supportive environment to play with other children while being given continued therapy.

behavioral intervENtion

Our team will conduct a thorough functional behavioral assessment and determine the best strategies to reduce negative behaviors and replace them with more desirable behaviors.

Our team will determine eligibility for services and navigate the insurance process for you. Our intake team will walk with you through this process. You will be asked to fill out an application, provide proof of medical diagnosis of Autism spectrum disorder, provide a prescription for ABA Therapy services, and provide proof of insurance.

therapy

When services commence, the intervention team will implement the treatment plan and target the behaviors that enable the child to reduce challenging behaviors while increasing their language, adaptive, and daily living skills. Progress is monitored through data collection to both evaluate and modify treatment to produce meaningful change and maximizing outcomes.

INITIAL intake

Let us help you determine your child’s eligibility for ABA therapy. We have experienced staff available to guide you through the insurance process. Families will be asked for a written medical diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as a prescription recommending ABA services. We will then have guardians complete intake paperwork and provide insurance information.

Our team will determine eligibility for services and navigate the insurance process for you. We will make the calls and provide you will all the details and a cost breakdown. If the family determines they want to proceed, we will gain authorization from the insurance company.

assessment

Once insurance authorization is received the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), will come to your home for a consultation. At the consultation, families will have the opportunity to express their concerns and goals. The BCBA will also conduct a comprehensive assessment of your child to determine the specific needs of your child. Based on the assessment done by the BCBA a unique treatment plan will be created for your child.

The intervention team will now include trained behavior therapists (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). BTs and RBTs will provide direct services based on the treatment plan under the guidance of your BCBA. Services will aim to reduce challenging behaviors while increasing the child’s language, functional skills, social skills and daily living skills.Your child’s progress will be monitored through data collection, allowing our team to evaluate and modify the child’s treatment plan when necessary.
